A Prayer of Welcome
Lord Jesus,
Thank you for the welcome you offer to each one of us. When we feel lost, uncertain, or far from home, you open your arms and invite us into your presence.
Fill our hearts with your grace, that we may be people of welcome and kindness. Help us to notice those who feel alone, to greet strangers with warmth, and to rejoice when friends return.
Open our eyes to see your image in every person we meet. Give us generous hearts, ready to offer friendship, hospitality, and encouragement.
This week, may our words and actions reflect your love, and may we remember that in welcoming others, we are welcoming you.
